I have been getting ready for this trip for weeks. Mostly, I am excited, but every once in a while, I have a tinge of nervousness… what if something happens to me while I’m gone? What if something happens to my husband or children while I’m away? I then need to submit all my cares to the Lord, the keeper of my life. No matter what happens, we are in His loving hands.
I am almost finished packing my suitcase with the “essentials”, but I realize that the spiritual preparation is even more important. I have been praying for safety and travel mercies and for our team to work well together for the good of the Lord’s purposes for our trip. Please join me in prayer!
I am very excited to have the opportunity to visit Africa, Zowe community and even have some “down time” at a nature reserve towards the end of our trip. I have a feeling that I will fall in love with the people there… and that my heart will be pulled deeper into serving them more in the future. I am excited to see what God has in store for us.
